Percussion Tutor

​Since moving to the local area at the age of 5, Acer became fully immersed in local music immediately. After studying under Joby Burgess, Acer was a category audition finalist for BBC Young Musician of the Year 2020. 
Although never making the jump over to Triorca, Acer was a member of the NCYO for many years, and has a lot of fond memories of their time there. They were also a member of Aldeburgh Young Musicians for a long time, benefitting greatly from the musical opportunities and experiences offered there.

Acer continues to work around Norwich as a freelance percussionist/pianist/guitarist, with large involvement with the local Musical Theatre scene, having most recently been Musical Director for Sweeney Todd (Threshold), Les Mis (Echo), and Jerry Springer the Opera (Sound Ideas). During the day, Acer is the Performing Artist in Residence at Norwich High School for Girls, and is thoroughly enjoying their journey into the musical education of young artists. Acer is delighted to be involved with this project and they are looking forward to working with everyone on Triorca this year.
